Centre-Ville

Houses along the Agout River in Castres (Castras in the Languedocian dialect of Occitan) ~20km from Soreze. Castres grew up around the Benedictine abbey of Saint Benoît, which is believed to have been founded in AD 647, possibly on the site of an old Roman fort (castrum).
